Do you remember the days when the TY® company couldn’t make enough Beanie Babies® to fill the supply? It seemed like everyone was collecting them. People would line up before the stores even opened in the morning. It was crazy!
What would cause people to behave like that?
That’s right, scarcity. When there isn’t enough to go around, everyone wants it!
The same is true of you too!
Let me explain.
When you make yourself a limited availability resource, people will want more. And, you are a limited resource — after all you can only do so many parties each week, right? You can capitalize on this fact by giving your potential hostess a limited number of choices to choose from when she books a party.
Here’s an example of what it might look like:
|Thursday, May 16 at 7 PM||Amanda Jones|
|Friday, May 17 at 7 PM|
|Saturday, May 18 at 1 PM||Cecelia Conner|
|Thursday, May 23 at 7 PM|
|Friday, May 24 at 7 PM||Jenny Evans|
|Saturday, May 25 at 1 PM|
|Thursday, May 30 at 7 PM|
|Friday,May 31 at 7 PM||Sally Perkins|
|Saturday, June 1 at 1 PM|
